AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series Refreshes Expected to Launch Next Month, Followed by Intel Arc Alchemist GPUs in May or June

AMD will launch their new flagship Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs in May or June, bringing a total of 362 new SKUs to market. This refresh is expected to be followed by Intel’s second generation Arc Alchemists in Q3 2018. The anticipated release date for the latter has not been confirmed yet.

The “intel arc alchemist gpu release date” is a gaming news article that discusses the upcoming AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series and Intel Arc Alchemist GPUs. The article mentions that these new cards will be released next month, followed by the Intel Arc Alchemist in May or June.

According to recent speculations from China’s Chiphell forum, AMD consumers looking for a taster before the release of the Radeon RX 7000 Series may be able to get their hands on red team’s array of updated RDNA 2 desktop GPUs rather soon.

AMD will release the Radeon RX 6950XT, Radeon RX 6750XT, and Radeon RX 6650XT graphics cards during the third full week of April, according to Enthusiastic Citizen, a user who has provided several rather reliable leaks so far. These updates will include faster 18 Gbps GDDR6 memory and are anticipated to cost a little bit more than the basic versions.

The availability of each of these cards will begin around April 20, according to Chiphell leakers. By the way, I’m not sure whether the RX 6500 will continue to go by the designation 6400 even if it has a higher frequency than the RX 6400; I myself like the term 6500.

With 18Gbps RAM, AMD Radeon RX 6950XT, 6750XT, and 6650XT RDNA2 update is currently anticipated to ship on April 20 or 21. (VideoCardz)

  • Additionally, the RX 6400, an AMD RDNA2 model that uses the Navi 24 GPU, is indicated as potentially entering the DIY market. System integrators and OEMs are the only ones that can currently use it.
  • Regarding the 6X50XT series, the top-tier RX 6950XT model is allegedly going up against the incoming GeForce RTX 3090 Ti SKU. Along with faster 18 Gbps RAM, this card will also have a 350W TDP (so 50W over the original specs).
  • The only thing that is known about the RX 6750XT and 6650XT is that they are expected to include 18 Gbps RAM as well, which will probably result in greater power consumption.

Igor Wassollek has released a supplementary report that offers information on the potential release date for Intel’s first Arc Alchemist graphics cards. The first Alchemist GPUs will be on sale, according on Wallossek’s sources, in either early May or June.

The GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 16GB is absent, Intel’s Arc is once again postponed, and GDDR6X causes issues. (Lab Igor’s)

  • I’ve heard from a number of sources that there will be another delay for Intel cards, at least for the three performance versions (SKUs 1 through 3).
  • The first models are reportedly expected to be introduced between May 2 and June 1, 2022, according to persistent speculations.
  • Additionally, the qualifying sample (QS) tape-out shouldn’t happen for 1-2 weeks.
