Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Beyond Mission Walkthrough

Shadowkeep is the first major expansion for Destiny 2 and it includes new features, a fresh storyline, and adds two brand-new locations to explore: The Dreaming City and Iron Banner. This walkthrough will cover how to complete all six of the main missions as well as each of those additional areas in detail.

The “destiny 2 beyond mission bug” is a bug that has been plaguing the game since the release of Destiny 2’s Shadowkeep expansion. The issue is that players can’t progress past certain missions without getting stuck.

Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Beyond Mission

  • Shadowkeep Campaign is a mission type.
  • The Moon is the location of the mission.

You’ve finally gathered all of the Dreambane Armor you’ll need to enter the Pyramid and are ready to go.

You’ll be making your way towards the Pyramid once Eris Morn has briefed you on what you need to accomplish, and you’ll need to figure out how to get inside.

What’s within will be a fresh discovery that will aid Eris Morn in her quest to learn more about the Pyramid.

What Can You Do When You’ve Completed Your Mission?

Once you’ve completed Step 16 of the Legacy: Shadowkeep Campaign, you’ll get the “Beyond” task, which is essential to go on with the quest.

Goals of the Mission

1) Conquer the Pyramid

Make your way through the trail and keep following the waypoint until you reach the Pyramid’s range.

You will finally arrive in the Enduring Abyss, where you must fight your way past any foes that stand in your way.

There will be very little space to walk after you see the Pyramid, but if you look to the left, there will be a trail that you may follow until you get close.

Continue on your journey to the Pyramid, leaping down as you follow the route to the left, and Ghost will begin to behave strangely, as if it is being taken over.

As you go down the walkway, you will be pushed inexorably towards the Pyramid until you are taken within.

2) Investigate the Pyramid (Part 1)

Following the set of stairs and heading to the left to follow the waypoint now that you’ve been transported inside the Pyramid.

Keep an eye on your step since some of the spots are dangerous.

As you come closer, you’ll see a statue-like thing that looks like Dominus Ghaul, and you’ll be transferred into an arena.

3) Defeat Dominus Ghaul’s Nightmare

You’ll begin your war against the Nightmare of Dominus Ghaul, who will be supported by Cabal soldiers.

When the health of Nightmare of Dominus Ghaul is depleted to a certain degree, it becomes invulnerable, and you must take out the other adversaries.

Rep the process of defeating lesser foes and assaulting Nightmare of Dominus Ghaul until its health is entirely depleted.

You will be transported out of the arena after defeating Dominus Ghaul’s Nightmare.

4) Investigate the Pyramid (Part 2)

After you’ve returned from the arena, return to the waypoint to go further into the Pyramid.

When you approach another statue-like item that resembles The Fanatic, you will be transferred to an arena once again.

5) Overcome the Fanatic’s Nightmare

If you remember The Fanatic, you’ll recall how irritating this adversary can be, and you’ll have to deal with it once again.

The Fanatic will be joined by Scorn foes, and after its health is lowered to a certain point, it will become invulnerable until the others are defeated.

You’ll be whisked out of the arena and back into the Pyramid to explore after you’ve done with The Fanatic.

6) Investigate the Pyramid (Part 3)

After what looks to be a second trial, you’ve returned to the Pyramid and will need to continue exploring inside it.

Return to the waypoint and you’ll find yourself further into the Pyramid, where you’ll come upon another statue-like thing that looks like the Crota, Son of Oryx.

7) Defeat Crota’s Nightmare, Oryx’s Son

The goals will suggest to kill Nightmare Swordbearers when you initially enter, but your true goal is to destroy the Nightmare of Crota, Son of Oryx.

You must fight a Swordbearer and get the Relic (sword), which is the only weapon capable of inflicting harm to Nightmare of Crota, Son of Oryx.

You should be able to destroy it with only two relics, which implies defeating a Swordbearer and attacking Nightmare of Crota, Son of Oryx at least twice.

8) Investigate the Pyramid (Part 4)

Once you’ve teleported back, there won’t be any objectives for you to do; instead, you’ll need to continue following the waypoint up a flight of stairs.

You’ll notice an orb-like item fall at the bottom of the steps, and you’ll need to approach it to see an option to study the Unknown Artifact.

9) Examine an unidentified artifact

When you interact with the Unknown Artifact, our character will take it, completing the task and launching a cutscene.

You will have accomplished the assignment and will be at Sanctuary on the Moon after the cinematic.

Aside from Mission RewardsD2BEYONDMI211021-2

You will earn the Unknown Artifact and a certain amount of XP after finishing the “Beyond” task.

  • You’ll be up against a variety of foes, so look for weak points and try to predict their strikes if at all possible.
  • Along with the many boss nightmares you’ll fight, nightmare variations of various opponents will occur. Try to plot and make use of your surroundings.
  • If you become stranded after beating a monster, you have three options: leap out of bounds, try to drain your health, or abandon and rejoin the task.
  • If you re-enter the task after quitting it, you’ll be able to pick up where you left off, resolving the problem.

After completing this task, you will obtain the Unknown Artifact, which you must return to Eris Morn so that she may research it further.

As you traveled the Pyramid, attempting to persuade your supporters, the Pyramid began to exhibit indications of despair and negativity, and the light abandoned you.

Later on, Eris Morn informs you that what you have discovered is not redemption, but devastation, and that she believes the artifact may be contaminated, but that she will continue to investigate it.

The “requires mission beyond campaign step” is a new feature in Destiny 2. This allows players to continue playing after the main story has been completed.
