The average clock speed was 1947MHz, with the highest recorded clock speed being 1987MHz. Our card managed to remain 75MHz above the boost clock at a minimum, 100MHz above the boost clock on average, and achieve peaks of 150MHz above the boost clock, which are acceptable results.

When contrasted to NVIDIA’s conservative 1777MHz boost clock standard, these results seem much better. Our minimums are 7% higher, averages are 9% higher, and maximums are 11% higher than the NVIDIA standard boost clock. GIGABYTE’s AORUS Engine overclocking software will be used for overclocking. All of this was accomplished by maximizing the power and temperature goals and turning off the passive fan technology while increasing the fan speed to 100%. While stress testing this card, GPU-Z stated that we were restricted since we exceeded the maximum operational voltage and overall power limits. Needless to say, the card became very noisy, although this could easily be remedied with a custom fan curve profile.
