  9. To start a live broadcast, tap “LIVE” or press the shutter button;

  1. First of all, you must enable LIVE broadcasts on the YouTube channel (activation may take up to 24 hours, so it’s better to do this in advance);
  2. Select the “LIVE” mode on the action camera;
  3. Click on the Facebook icon to change the platform on Youtube;
  4. Click “Configure LIVE”;
  5. Connect your YouTube account and allow the application access to it;
  6. Connect to a Wi-Fi network;
  7. Select access settings (publicly available);
  8. Give your stream a name and a short description;
  9. Choose a location;
  10. Select a resolution (480 or 720p);
  11. Set the save settings (it is possible to save a copy of the broadcast directly to the SD card in high quality);

Live streaming using RTMP URLs on compatible video platforms

Live streaming only supports RTMP and RTMPS URLs. RTSP, HLS, and other URLs are not supported.

Instruction:

  1. Visit the platform on which you are going to stream and find instructions on how to create an RTMP or RTMPS link specifically for this platform;
  2. Return to the application and select LIVE mode;
  3. Click on the Facebook icon to change the platform, then click on “Other”;
  4. Click “Configure LIVE” and fill in the required field with the URL link;
  5. Select resolution (480 / 720p);
  6. Set the save settings (it is possible to save a copy of the broadcast directly to the SD card in high quality);

How to use a personal Wi-Fi hotspot?

Make sure that your tariff allows you to distribute the Internet, and the phone supports the function of an access point. In the LIVE Broadcast settings menu, select “Enable Personal Access Point” and follow the instructions.

Why is my LIVE interrupted on Facebook and other sites?

Most likely this is due to the speed of the Internet. For high-quality streaming, use a Wi-Fi network (not a personal access point). If you live from a personal access point, make sure that your tariff plan provides sufficient Internet speed. It often happens that even if the speed is high, there are restrictions on watching videos and uploading files, carefully study your tariff plan.

Can I use my mobile phone data live?

Currently, live streaming on action cameras is possible only through a mobile phone, using Wi-Fi or your access point. When using a personal access point, mobile phone data will be used.

Why can I broadcast live only on Facebook and YouTube?

You can stream to other platforms (Twitch, YouTube, Vimeo, INKE, HUYA, DOOYU, BILIBI, YY) using the RTMP URL.

Why can’t I stream to YouTube?

If you enable live streaming on your YouTube channel, activation may take up to 24 hours. If you can’t broadcast live, check your YouTube account, maybe the channel or live broadcast is blocked.

How much data is used when streaming from a personal access point?

When streaming data, up to 2 GB of data per hour can be used.
