Persona 5 is a popular video game developed by Atlus. It centers around the main protagonist, Takuru Mayama and his own personal struggle with issues that he has faced in dealing with others on the inside of an aggressive high school. The story follows Takuru as he manages to set up their self-defense group known as “the phantom thieves.” He then meets 4 other girls who have experienced similar situations within society which eventually leads them into becoming members of this club together.

The “persona 5 strikers akane boss” is a game that was released on the PlayStation Plus service. It is an action-adventure game with RPG elements and it has been critically acclaimed for its storyline, characters, and gameplay.

REVIEW – The protagonists of Persona 5 Strikers: the “Phantom Thieves” are not tremendously strong mutant superheroes, rich billionaires, or super-soldiers, but average, everyday high school guys and girls who fight a variety of evils in a weird, parallel world known as Metaverse. The Japanese action RPG, which will be available on PS Plus shortly, was tested on PlayStation 5.

Persona 5 is both a sequel and a spin-off, as you may go on a new major adventure with the same group of kids in the same setting, but with radically different gameplay than the various shadows in the Metaverse — this time in real-time, rather than the tactical, turn-based fighting of the past. Once again, our adventures take place in Tokyo, both in the actual world and in the warped, humorously hideous Metaverse, a parallel universe.

The Phantom Thieves have returned.

The last episode’s high school gang is back, headed by the nameless hero we play, a young guy with the moniker Joker. The plot takes place four months after the events of Persona 5, and it doesn’t bother to explain anything about the game’s world, the protagonists’ pasts, or their connections with one another, so if you don’t want to get lost in it, you should play through Persona 5.

Of course, the Persona games’ world is built on similar roots. Behind the mundane, real-world world of high school students lies the Metaverse, where one of the places you may visit is Tokyo, but in a strange, warped realm that looks nothing like the original and is full with’shadows’: ghost warriors masking their demonic appearances.

Our aspirations are stolen by the famous girl.

One of the central protagonists in this episode is Alice Hiiragi, a sultry young celebrity girl who, in the real world, in the cosplay costume of Alice in Wonderland’s title character, is very aggressive in the seduction of her fans – literally – and in Metaverseum, she is the tyrant, the dominatrix queen.

A smartphone app called EMMA is a significant aspect of the game, in which Alice drags zombie fans into her dungeons and utilizes her shadows to slay any who disobey her (like our heroes). She does this using an unusual tool: he kidnaps people’s diverse aspirations.

The game’s plot is once again of exceptional quality. However, compared to the last episode, which dealt with child abuse, adult depravity, and even rape, this one includes much less disturbing daily drama. Such serious subjects aren’t as prevalent here. The game’s frequently gruesome setting and aesthetics reflect people’s brain-dead obsession with superstars who are so absolutely wicked that they sell and market themselves like prostitutes. The tale of all the Persona parts is such high quality, and therefore so much more than a basic anime story – for a discriminating audience, of course – maybe because of this more deeper, subtler message.

There’s more to hack’n’slash than that.

The main difference between Persona 5 Strikers and the previous installment is that you’ll be slicing at the very inventive monsters in real time. Even yet, this installment isn’t a basic hack’n’slash. You may summon your ‘Persons’ (a type of ‘allied demons’ controlled by your heroes), ‘weld’ them together after a visit to the Velvet Room, evocative of David Lynch movies, and perform ‘All in’ and ‘Showtime’ special attacks, as well as perform ‘All in’ and ‘Showtime’ special attacks. Strikers has lots of tactical action, yet it happens in real time rather than in a frozen, round-by-round manner.

Tactical awareness is required not only in combat but also when exploring the Metaverse, as you must find the appropriate passageways, gates, and alleyways to move forward in many places, and in an area brimming with creative minds and an incredibly overwhelming Japanese anime visual landscape, this is not always an easy task. At moments, I burst out laughing at things like intoxicated, gigantic, spinning teddy bears, and at other times, the dark and disgusting David Lynch-like atmosphere returned to haunt me.

You’ll be so engrossed in the amazing anime vibe and fast-paced fighting that you’ll forget not to drink too much energy and healing potions to recharge your magic points, for if you do, you’ll get beaten up by the stronger primary monsters. Plus, recharging your pre-fight attitude is futile since you’ll be confronting the primary monster in question again with the same amount of reserves and health, thus your tiny squad is likely to suffer the same fate. To put it another way, as simple and straightforward as Persona 5 Strikers seems at first look, it’s a tough nut to crack later on, and even on medium difficulties, you’ll need to be well-prepared before entering the Metaverse.

There are no average setbacks here.

Aside from the battle mechanism, another – and much more important – difference is that we no longer have access to our heroes’ daily life. While the primary premise of Persona games is to follow our characters, who are generally of school age, to high schools and engage in their activities and social lives there as well as at home, this aspect of the game has been almost totally abandoned. We no longer have to cope with the “Confidence System,” hang out with friends, prepare for the next exam, read books, or improve our other talents, even if the calendar now rotates one day at a time.

This isn’t so great (except for those annoyed and who wanted to concentrate on the main game). However, seeing the six distinct areas in Japan provides many possibilities to learn more about our surroundings.

Overall, this episode is just as entertaining, interesting, and thrilling as any other in the Persona series. If you have the opportunity, don’t miss Persona 5 or its expanded version, Persona 5 Royal, since you’ll have a far greater understanding of this fascinating universe and the young people that portray the major characters. The Phantom Thieves have once again stolen a piece of my heart.
