E3 2018 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is right around the corner, so you’ll probably hear about it at some point. Microsoft and Sony have big events planned for themselves, and a host of other publishers are planning a series of press events in sunny LA. We have no idea what to expect from the PlayStation 5, but it’s certainly going to be interesting to see what Sony says about it.
Well, the most important game announcement of the year is coming up next week. So, what can we expect from Sony? One thing we can reasonably expect is that the PS5 is going to be a console that looks more like an actual computer than the PS4, as Sony has made some significant changes to its hardware design in recent years. Early media reports have claimed that the PS5 will feature a number of changes, including a new controller and a more powerful GPU with AMD’s next-gen Navi GPU.

As we said before, E3 is coming up, but before that there was a lot to see, like the Summer Game Fest, which was awesome by the way! I’m not going to tell you everything here, but I will give you some information! One of those news items, and this is very important to me, is that Elden Ring has finally been given a release date. Yes, you read it right, Elden Ring has a release date! !! Elden Ring was announced in 2019 and has been on everyone’s mind for a while now. We’ve seen and heard very little about this game, and honestly I didn’t expect the release date to be as close as it is now, and I’m blown away. On the 21st. In January 2022, the Elden Ring game will finally be in the hands of all those who have been waiting for it. To top it off, a decent trailer has also been released! See below ! !! 
Official Elden Ring trailer at Summer Game Fest For us Call of Duty fans, season 3 of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War is coming to an end, and with it, season 4 begins! PSA, if you want to get your hands on the Rambo and John McLane skins, get them before the end of season 3! We’re not talking about season 3, we know the schedule for season 4 is the 14th. June will be revealed, but we already know a little bit about what to expect. Black Ops Cold War will feature several new game modes and, of course, new maps. Additionally, another turn-based zombie mode is promised for the fourth season. And while I can’t say for sure what changes will be made to the map of Verdansk in Warzone, we do know that satellites will be dropped on the city and a few things will likely change. I just don’t know what those changes will be yet. We start on the 14th. June, I’m looking forward to it! Besides, we receive on the 14th. June double XP and double Battle Pass XP for completing the third season. Season 4 starts on the 17th. June and I can’t wait! Do you remember Death Stranding? A game that was a success, but at the same time caused critical confusion for some? Hideo Kojima will release a Director’s Cut version of the game on PS5. There’s no word yet on what the director’s cut will include, but as soon as Kojima lets us know, we’ll let you know too! I’m sure we can expect higher frame rates, maybe improved graphics and details, maybe additional narrative content, and who knows what else? I’m sure PS4 owners won’t be getting a free update to the Director’s version of the game, but hey, news is news! I’ll let you know when we know more. 
Finally, today’s news is an interesting announcement, and I’m not sure where this is going, but I’m intrigued by the possibilities! Anyway, the former developers of Treyarch (the developers of Call of Duty Black Ops) have formed a new development company called Deviation Games! But it’s pretty interesting, that’s what I’m worried about. Deviant Games is working with Sony on a groundbreaking new AAA IP, which we’ll have more details on later this year. We have no idea what it’s going to be, let alone the genre, but I think it’s going to be a first-person shooter. Either way, if this is a AAA game that will be exclusive to Sony, we can definitely expect something epic! I hope… Anyway, can’t jump on the hype train if I don’t know what to do with the hype, can I? Oh, shit. I’m excited and I don’t even know why! E3 must come! Read this week’s game update.
